In addition to the previously-reported upcoming collaboration TV anime episodes in August, Bandai Namco Entertainment's official YouTube channel has also posted a music video for "Aikatsu Melody!," a special song for the Aikatsu! franchise's 5th anniversary, featuring the three protagonists from the TV anime series, Ichigo Hoshimiya (Aikatsu! 1st and 2nd season), Akari Ozora (Aikatsu!3rd and 4th season), and Yume Nijino (Aikatsu Stars!).

The song is performed by the characters' singing voice performers, Waka from STAR☆ANIS, and Ruka & Sena from AIKATSU☆STARS!, and is now featured in a new time-limited event of the same name in the franchise's "Aikatsu! Photo on Stage!!" smartphone rhythm game app till 12:59 on August 9 (JST). "Aikatsu Melody!" is the 20th song newly produced for the app that started its service in January 2016.
